Privacy Policy

Summary

Web Drawable lets you draw on web pages and save PDFs locally. We do not operate a backend that receives your ink or page content. There is no account.

What is stored on your device

• Drawing strokes in IndexedDB, opened only by the extension service worker
• Storage key: page URL with hash and utm_* query parameters removed
• Extension settings in chrome.storage (if any)

What is not uploaded

• Ink and stroke data are not sent to developer servers
• PDF files are generated on device and saved via Chrome Downloads (or a local fallback link)
• Opening optional Buy Me a Coffee from the popup does not transmit webpage content or ink to us

PDF capture

Viewport and full-page PDFs are built from screenshots of the visible window on your machine. Full-page export uses up to 40 viewport captures. No PDF is uploaded to our servers.

Permissions

The extension may request host access to inject the drawing overlay on web pages, scripting, storage/IndexedDB, and downloads for PDF save. See the Chrome Web Store listing for details.

Data retention and deletion

Local ink and settings remain until you:

• Clear site data for a URL or reset extension storage
• Remove Web Drawable, or
• Clear extension data in Chrome

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
