Does ReelControl work outside Instagram?
No. It runs only on https://www.instagram.com/* and does not access other sites.
Does it send my Instagram data to a server?
No. Video controls run in your browser. Account info and viewing history are not collected or transmitted.
Is ReelControl official from Instagram or Meta?
No. ReelControl is an independent extension and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
Frame capture does not work.
Some reels may use DRM or unusual players. Share the URL and we can investigate.
How do I change default playback speed?
Open the extension popup and set your preferred default speed and toolbar options.
Shortcuts conflict with Instagram.
Focus the video area first, or customize shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
