Does this connect to Gmail via API or OAuth?
No. It automates Gmail’s visible list UI in your open tab on mail.google.com — the same Mark as read you would click yourself.
What is the difference between “Mark this page read” and “Mark all read”?
Mark this page read handles only the current page. Mark all read repeats page select → mark read → next page until the list ends.
Why not select all thousands of unread at once?
Gmail’s toolbar can break or hide Mark as read when too many messages are selected. Page-by-page is safer and more reliable.
Does it upload my emails?
No. Processing is local in your browser on mail.google.com. Email body is not sent to developer servers.
Will it run without my confirmation?
No. Actions run only after you confirm in the extension UI.
Does it work in Promotions or search results?
Yes, on standard Gmail message lists including Promotions, labels, and search results.
