What is the keyboard shortcut?
Alt+W starts drawing. Customize at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Hold Space and drag to pan while drawing.
Are my marks deleted when I close the toolbar?
No. Closing hides the overlay; reopening restores the same strokes from local IndexedDB.
Is ink uploaded to a server?
No. Strokes are stored in IndexedDB on your device, keyed by a normalized page URL. PDFs are built locally and saved to Downloads.
Why does full-page PDF stop at 40 screens?
Very long pages are stitched from viewport captures. The limit keeps memory and time reasonable; the toolbar notifies you when truncated.
Why can I not draw on some pages?
Browser internal URLs (chrome:, edge:, about:, etc.) and the Chrome Web Store are blocked. The overlay runs on the top frame only, not inside iframes.
Do I need Buy Me a Coffee or an account?
No. The extension is free with no account. Buy Me a Coffee in the popup is optional support — drawing works without opening it.
