Does YouTube Wheel Master collect my data?
No. The extension only adjusts playback on youtube.com/watch. No server uploads or analytics.
Why doesn't the wheel work on Shorts?
MVP targets youtube.com/watch only. Shorts use a different DOM; support is planned for a future version.
The page scrolls when I use the wheel on the player.
This usually means the listener failed to attach. Refresh the page or report the URL — we use preventDefault with passive: false on the player area.
Can I change the 5-second step?
Not in MVP. User-configurable seek intervals are on the roadmap.
Is there a popup or settings page?
No — Zero-UI by design. Install and use the wheel on the YouTube player.
